FAQ
Qld Cricket Foundation Questions
The purpose of the Queensland Cricket Foundation is to fundraise and invest into cricket initiatives that create positive differences in Queensland communities. The work of the foundation aims to give more Queenslanders the opportunity to support and participate in Australia’s favourite sport, while enhancing the experiences of all existing participants, volunteers and fans.
All money raised will go towards supporting our four key pillars:
- Indigenous health and well-being
- Female and all-inclusive programs and initiatives
- Infrastructure and facilities
- Supporting experiences for disadvantaged youth

All names etched into the Allan Border Field Picket Fence will be in place for a period of 10 years from the official opening of the Allan Border Field Improvement Project. Or if donated after the opening of the Allan Border Field Improvement Project, at the completion of 10 years from payment received by the Foundation.
After the 10-year period you will be offered the opportunity to renew your picket (providing Qld Cricket continues to re-run the campaign). Or if not renewing, you will be able to receive the plaque (not the actual picket) in its current state (including the impact of weather and conditions) by contacting the Qld Cricket Foundation.
If Allan Border Field is to be relocated and the picket fence is removed, all pickets will be relocated to the new location until completion of the 10-year period. If this relocation is to occur, we will endeavour to contact all donors to advise them of the new location.
